How we are governed

Our clients’ needs are at the centre of our services and decisions we make about how to run Providence Row. Twice a year we carry out a client survey to find out what they like about our services and what they feel could be improved. We also carry out focus groups and pilots of our projects to make sure that we are doing everything we can to help our clients to move out of homelessness.

We also adapt to the changing world around us, whether that means introducing more English classes for our Eastern and Central European clients, Halal food in the kitchen or a specialist worker in immigration.

Providence Row is governed by a Board of Trustees comprising of 12 individuals. They delegate the day to day running of the charity to the Chief Executive Officer, Tom O'Connor.

The board meet quarterly to discuss issues relating to the organisation and strategy. There are three sub-committees within the board for: finance, fundraising & communications, services. These sub-committees also meet quarterly. You can find out more about our mission and values here.
