Now in their 7th year, the Corporate Engagement Awards recognises the most successful and innovative corporate partnerships and sponsorships as well as the communication strategies around those collaborations.
Providence Row has been shortlisted as a result of its innovative programme with Property Developer Berkeley Homes, North East London, which it has agreed to partner with for three years to help tackle homelessness in East London.
The collaboration aims to raise vital funds for the charity; smash the stigma associated with homelessness and to support the development of Providence Row’s building and garden spaces, making them more efficient and psychologically informed. The partnership also hopes to pilot a Building Trainee Scheme for people affected by homelessness before the end of the third year.
Berkeley Homes has already raised a substantial proportion of their £300,000 target through a variety of fundraising events. This money has made a direct impact on the charity through funding its vital employability and training schemes which tackle the root causes of homelessness.
