Night Service: Overnight Accommodation
The Night Service, our emergency short term accommodation, has become well established over the last two years. Funded by the department of Communities and Local Government (CLG), it provides short term accommodation for those waiting to be reconnected back to their home country. This service is for people who have been brought in by outreach teams rather than self-admission.
Night Service is used by BARKA UK and the London Reconnections team as transitional accommodation for people who are returning to Poland or other eastern European countries.
Between June and December 2010 108 people used this service before returning to their home country.
