Company support

Do you want to be affiliated with a well respected charity making a difference to homeless people in East London?
Our partnerships with companies have been recognised by the Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards. Our partnership with Andaz, Liverpool St, Hotel saw them nominated for a Lord Mayor’s Dragon Award in 2012 and go on to win the award for Social Inclusion in 2013. In 2014 our work with GL Hearn saw them win an award for ‘Strengthening the Third Sector’. Most recently our partnership with BBMV was nominated for a community partners award.
We are interested in working with companies in partnership where your company support can enable our clients to rebuild their lives. This can include sponsorship of a project such as an aspect of our Learning Programme or using the resources available within your company to provide learning and training to our clients.
Here are some examples of how we are working in the local community with nearby companies:
BBMV gave us the seed funding for our urban garden which enabled us to secure further donations. They also advised on Health & Safety issues and gave us a donation of wood that had previously been under Blackfriars Bridge. Best of all a team of their staff joined us for a day of planting.
“We felt Providence Row’s garden project was a natural fit with our organisational aims. It has been fantastic to see what our initial funding helped make possible; a wonderful garden created in the heart of East London, for everyone to enjoy”
 - Ian Whyte, Stakeholder Manager, BBMV
By providing pro bono property advice, GL Hearn supported Providence Row with two property transactions, the sale of one asset and the acquisition of another, better suited property for a similar purchase price, GL Hearn helped to secure a new stream of income for Providence Row. The new property is expected to generate a regular gross income of around £250,000 a year, once fully occupied. The property also has significant development potential which could generate significant capital for the charity in the medium to longer term, whilst allowing it to retain its current revenue stream.
