Providence Row is currently recruiting for a Welcome Area Co-ordinator. This is effectively our reception area and it’s the welcoming face of Providence Row, providing information to people experiencing homelessness, staff, volunteers and visitors.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a focused and supportive team and to work in a busy and stimulating environment. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for many people. This person will need to demonstrate an inclusive approach and be willing to learn about Providence Row and the services we provide.
You will be responsible for providing administrative support and will need to prioritise a diverse workload. Further responsibilities will involve supporting volunteers working on reception.
The ideal candidate
To be successful in this role you will have experience of working within an administrative support role, as well as possessing effective written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work well in a busy and sometimes challenging environment.
