A Magical Evening of Music | Providence Row

We recently had the honour of having musician Becky Ross present a live performance of her debut album, Therapy, at our resource centre in East London.

Becky is one of our regular volunteers who helps run our weekly music group in which our clients write, create, perform and talk about music.

What a wonderful evening we had hearing Becky perform her heart-felt and moving songs encapsulating what therapy has come to mean in the 21st century.  Becky also touches on the theme of homelessness in her album.

We also enjoyed some delicious funky mocktails and scrumptious brownies from our social enterprise bakery, Rise.

We are incredibly touched that Becky is donating a percentage of her album sales to our charity. From the album launch evening alone, Becky has already helped us raise £425.

Thank you so much Becky for your support.

Becky wanted us to share the following about the evening. These are her words:

“As people started to come into the art room at Providence Row I knew I had picked the right place to launch my album.”

“The room was full of my friends, family and colleagues - people who care both about music and the need to support vulnerable people in our society.”

“Providence Row, a place that provides a safe space for so many people, had become my very own safe space for expression - a place that truly feels like home to the volunteers, members of staff and the community that walk through its doors every day.”

Providence Row is a charitable company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales with company number 07452798 and registered charity number 1140192. Its registered office is at The Dellow Centre, 82 Wentworth Street, London, E1 7SA.
