Alan and Geraint complete their Three Peaks Challenge in support of Providence Row

We would like to thank Alan, Head of school at the City of London School, and his husband Geraint for completing their amazing Three Peaks Challenge in support of Providence Row over the weekend. Alan and Geraint raised over £25,000 to help young people through their 2023 Bursary Appeal and to support our charity.

They headed to Fort William on 2nd June 2023 to climb Ben Nevis the following morning. They then climbed Scafell Pike in the Lake District later that evening, before an overnight drive to tackle Yr Wyddfa on Sunday morning.

Alan said: ‘I won’t lie: it was a tough challenge – and my legs are reminding me of that today! But it was also an amazing experience, and we’re both really glad that we did it. We were helped along by the stunning weather (we were so lucky on that score!), and by the knowledge that we were raising some decent money!’
