Join Providence Row in the TCS Virtual London Marathon on Sunday 2nd October.
The virtual TCS London Marathon is back and it’s here to stay!
Now a firm fixture in the running calendar, the TCS Virtual London Marathon will take place on the same day as the London Marathon in the capital, on Sunday 2nd October. As a virtual marathon runner, you will have 24-hours to complete 26.2miles on a course of your choice and at whatever place you like! You can choose to run, walk, jog, create a unique course, run laps or relay with a team!
Providence Row will provide you with one of our unique green running vests for you to run proud and support people experiencing homelessness with every mile you run.
Why run for Providence Row?
Over 10,000 people slept on the streets of London last year. Since the start of the pandemic there has been a rise in homelessness, unemployment and poor mental health, it is vital that we are able to meet the needs of vulnerable people in our community and city with crisis care and long term support services.
By fundraising for Providence Row you are helping us to reach those who are most vulnerable to homelessness to get the support they deserve to live a life away from the streets, and to keep safe during the pandemic.

The Virtual London Marathon fundraising challenge
This challenge has a £10 registration fee, payable via our website and a fundraising target of £400. Providence Row can help you to set up a Just Giving page to make it easy to fundraise and ensure that you hit your target!
Last year we had five amazing runners that supported our work. All of our runners were first time marathon runners and all of them completed their courses!
Abbey works for Providence Row and ran a route to local to her, and says: ‘I’ve always wanted to run the marathon but never had the courage to do so until now. I think it helps that I’ll be running to raise awareness and funds for something that I’m truly passionate about and support on a daily basis through my work activities’.
