Outreach psychotherapy | Providence Row

Our psychotherapy team works on an outreach basis, taking therapy out on to the streets

Our Outreach Psychotherapy Service is an award-winning (The London Homelessness Awards 2022) and innovative project aimed at people affected by homelessness.

How we work

We work across the City of London, Hackney and Tower Hamlets with adults who are currently rough-sleeping or those who are experiencing difficulties maintaining accommodation.

Being an outreach service, we are able to meet the client where they are. This enables us to offer psychotherapy to those who may not be comfortable accessing therapy in a clinical setting or may find it difficult to travel. We are flexible with where we meet the client and we will always offer a supportive and confidential space for clients to explore and address some of the difficulties they are experiencing.

Talking therapy can help people gain a clearer understanding of themselves and their experiences. The client can talk about what they are going through now or things from the past that are still having an impact on them

Who we work with

We work across the City of London, Hackney and Tower Hamlets with adults who are currently rough-sleeping or those who are experiencing difficulties maintaining accommodation. We work with both men and women and within our team of qualified therapists we have a specialist women’s psychotherapist and a polish-speaking therapist.
